maus 2 blog #2
i thought that the way that the book ended was really powerful because of how he showed the gravestone in the last panal. i was also curious as to why people think he added in the human picture of valdek. i really am at a loss of words about the end of the book the entir thing was just so good and i would recomend it anyone that is looking for something to do in their free time.

maus 2 #1 1-2
one of the more interesting things that i have found from this first reading is that art spiegleman has decided to incorporate himself into the novel. by adding himself into the novel it adds an entirely new dimanic to the book that a reader useually will not recieve from other books. i did like tha fact that not only did he add himself into the book but he also drew himself with a mouse mask on to show him trying to get into the book. these two chaptershave had the most background detail that we have been given up until this point. i am interested to see how the rest of this book ends up.

maus log #2 4-6
i would have liked to anaylize maus more by reading it slower because i really did enjoy this book and wanted to spend more time on it. but i understand that its the end of the year and we needed to finish. i would like to say that trying to keep up with all of the different names and cities is difficult for me and i find myself having difficulties connecting people because of how this book jumped around. but despite the difficulties in following this book i have really enjoyed picking up different details for the pictures. this book was very fun to find things out because you could find details anywhere.

Maus blog #1
i am very interested in finding out how this book will end up being that it is a grapic novel and all. i loved the fact that the author used the relationship between cats and rats to symbolize the relationship between jews and the nazis. since we have not talked about what we need to disscuss so far i'll just say that i like what i have seen so far and am looking forward to what comes next.
